About The Worship Center

Our Vision and Mission

Can be summed up in this scripture:

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.

-Isaiah 61:1-3

OUR VISION

Our vision is to be a welcoming, vibrant, worshipful community of Christ-followers, knowing and loving God and people, living in the simple joy that is found in Jesus

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to see people's lives restored to God, inwardly transformed, fully devoted to Jesus Christ, and thriving in wellness and maturity in Him.

OUR RESPONSE

Our faith resounds to God's kindness by caring, giving, and sharing with those in need, both in God's household and in the communities that our lives touch.

Our Deacons

Deacons serve Christ and the Church by learning the needs of the body and acting as the hands of Christ to meet those needs with love and compassion.  Deacons work diligently on practical matters of church life and give glory to God by humbly serving the congregation.

Some of the areas in which the deacons serve the body of Christ:

  • Care for those in need

  • Be mindful of the needs of the body

  • Make sure the church is set up for the Sunday Service and other events

  • Oversee the Greeters ministry

  • Oversee church Missions

  • Organize and run the Annual Church Picnic
